Angelbecksteich barrier-free circular hiking trail

The Administrative District of Celle as the body responsible for the nature park has made a particularly attractive part of the nature park in the area of the Angelbecksteich easily accessible above all for persons with restricted mobility and visually impaired persons. But also families with prams will be able to enjoy the trail.

The main route around the reservoir has been paved without barriers over a length of about 1 km for visitors with wheelchairs and prams, besides which there is a guide for visually impaired persons. Attractive buildings inviting hikers to linger have also been constructed.

Here you can experience a characteristic heath landscape with many typical plants and animals. The explanations given along the way are intended to arouse and deepen the interest of visitors for nature and the countryside in the nature park. A summary in Braille has been provided for blind persons.

The Angelbecksteich is roughly halfway between Oldendorf and Queloh on the L 281. You can reach the resting place and car park via the “Dehningshof“ turnoff.
