Cycling in the Südheide nature park

The Südheide nature park provides a well-signposted network of cycling trails for visitors. Pedal your way through the varied countryside in the park. Ten themed cycling tours marked by pictograms with a total length of more than 400 kilometres take you to places of special interest and show you the different faces of the nature park with its scenic heathland, extensive forests, crystal clear streams and moor and pond landscapes.

Inside the nature park information boards provide further details about the themed tours and give you a better understanding of the landscape, animal and plant world, history and culture of the region.

Along the way several parking places with seats and shelters invite you to take a rest. More than 200 benches and over 70 shelters round off the offer.

Cycle along picturesque trails and through dreamy villages. Several good restaurants and hotels by the wayside which you will find at  www.regioncelle.de ensure a well-deserved refreshment and a roof over your head for the night.

On our interactive tour portal, the “Region-Celle-Navigator“, you will find all important information about the themed cycling tours at www.region-celle-navigator.de.
